We feel we made the best choice
Countrymark Log Homes was our choice, hands down, when we were looking to build our log home. We loved the look and feel of owning a log home, but all the problems that come along with a traditional log home were a little scary to us. We feel we made the best choice, because we get the look and feel of a traditional log home without the worries. We just had our house appraised recently and the home appraiser was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was log siding! Ed and Christine have been wonderful to work with and we are so proud of our beautiful home.

We love our Countrymark Log Home and wouldn't want any other type of log home
Rita and I feel like we are staying at a resort and we never have to go home. We love our Countrymark Log Home and wouldn't want any other type of log home. We met Ed and Christine at a log home show in Louisville about 5 years ago. We knew after that meeting we wanted a Countrymark Log Home. We have the look and feel; however never have to worry with the settling or the upkeep that is associated with a real log home. I really love the fact that I could fully insulate this house with 6" of spray foam insulation in the walls. The roof has the panels that come with the package and the floor is fully insulated with fiberglass. Our house is 2700 square feet. We were so afraid when we got our electric bill of how much our cooling would be for the exceptionally hot summer we had. Our first electric bill was $124. Our house is finished with all wood interior walls and red oak floors. We love the all wood effect and smell. Our daughter always wants us to go on vacation so she and her family can spend time at our resort. Our only regret was we didn't build it when we were younger. Ed with Countrymark was always punctual when bringing materials as we needed them and was extremely honest. With this type of investment, dealing with someone you can't trust could be devastating. Our builder Chase Kelso is a true Craftsman and made it all come together. I would highly recommend Countrymark Log Homes and this builder. Why build a log home and not enjoy it with all the headaches associated with real logs.
